The ERDC DSRC announces the availability of the Advanced Reservation Service (ARS) on the SGI Altix Ice (DIAMOND), Cray XT4 (JADE), and Cray XT3 (SAPPHIRE).
ARS will allow users to make reservations in advance for interactive or batch jobs of up to 168 hours. Node limits vary by system and can be found on the ARS web page.
ARS can be accessed via the following URL:
https://reservation.hpc.mil
Users can use their CAC/HTOKEN or regular HPCMP kerberos authentication to login. Additional documentation can be found in the ARS User Guide located on the main ARS page.
Please note the following:
* Reservations should be made at least 24 hours in advance of their desired start time.
* Users will be charged for the entire reservation time regardless of the number, size, or duration of the jobs run inside the reservation.
* Once the reservation starts, users cannot cancel it for any partial refund.
* Users have the ability to cancel their reservations up to 8 hours prior to the reservation start time in order to not be charged for the originally requested time.
